Portfolio > Art at London Zoo

From 2014-15 I took up a residency as Artist For Animals at ZSL London Zoo. My project ‘A New Wave: Art and Conservation Science’ focused on marine life, in all its’ mystery and complexity.

My solo exhibition at ZSL London Zoo Aquarium in Spring 2015 was the first painting exhibition to launch on zoo grounds.

Through an investigative art research, I aimed to provide an exciting view into the fields of traditional science and conservation, translating the valuable work undertaken by those dedicated to the field into easily accessible, visual forms.
A collection of illustrated interviews with the zookeepers and conservation scientists at ZSL London Zoo can be enjoyed on my Research Blog.
